Boring Hair is History Manic Panic Advertising Campaign

Going back to school shouldn’t make you want to dump your tea in the harbor. Manic Panic is making sure that boring hair is history this school year by showing well-known historical figures who have taken on a new do. The imagery makes you do a double take by dying the hair (and mustaches) of significant people in history that everyone has learned about in history class. These unexpected colors not only catch your attention, but also bring a smile to your face because when did you ever think you would see Albert Einstein with pink hair.

The designs of the ads are made up of bright, colorful overlays, created in Photoshop, to transform the hair color of these past greats while the free-hand lines guide you through the rest of the image.
